Job Summary:

Horizon Business Funding seeks an experienced salesperson to join our rapidly growing team in Manhattan’s Financial District.

We are an alternative funding source for entrepreneurs across the United States. So instead of offering loans we provide cash advances and other unique financing opportunities to companies in need of a quick influx of cash. This can help businesses to make payroll or — more frequently — to fund an expansion or an exciting growth opportunity.

Through your sales you will have the opportunity to make a big different in business owners’ lives in a very short time. With this in mind we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial streak of his or her own. As income this sales person will receive a commission based share of the deals he or she funds. Candidates should be self-starters who are comfortable with and excited about alternative funding.

We will provide a sales call script, the tools for digital marketing and access to our already extensive network, but the ability to succeed is in your hands.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have a history of selling financial products and at least 2 years of working history.
• The strongest candidates will have an existing book of small business clients and a strong lending history.
• A college degree is not necessary.
• Candidates should have strong verbal and written communication skills, we expect sales people to make 70 to 100 phone calls each day and to have the ability to craft professional email correspondences.
• We are looking for someone who is self motivated, comfortable with frequent review and excited to work in a high energy fast paced environment.

This can help businesses to make payroll or — more frequently — to fund an expansion or an exciting growth opportunity.

With this in mind we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial streak of his or her own. In addition to an annual salary, this senior level sales person will receive a commission based share of the deals he or she funds. Candidates should be self-starters who are comfortable with and excited about alternative funding.

We will provide the tools for digital marketing and access to already extensive network, but the ability to succeed is in your hands.

• Candidates should have a history of selling financial products and at least 5 years of working history.
• The strongest candidates will have an existing book of small business clients and have leant a minimum of $500,000.
• A college degree is not necessary.
• Candidates should have strong verbal and written communication skills, we expect sales people to make 70 to 100 phone calls each day and to have the ability to craft professional email correspondences.
• We are looking for someone who is self motivated, comfortable with frequent review and excited to work in a high energy fast paced environment.

This is a salary and commission position.
